Cyclists at the Azeville battery

The Azeville battery is open from mid-February to 11 November.
Bookings are not required for audio tours.
Group bookings are available from 15 January to 15 December.

Individual and family rates

  • Family pass €16 (1 adult + 2 or more children) or €24 (2 adults + 2 or more children)
  • Adult loyalty pass (valid 1 year): €12 / Children’s loyalty pass (valid 1 year): €6
  • Guided tour: €1 supplement

Group rates per person

  • Adult groups (minimum 15 visitors): €5
  • Adult group from the social or medical-social sector (no minimum number): €5
  • School and extra-curricular groups (minimum 10 children): €3
  • Children’s group from the social or medical-social sector (no minimum number): €3

Picnic area

There is a picnic area between the car park and the reception building. Surrounded by greenery, you can picnic in the shade or in the sun.

Available: 6 tables for 6 to 8 people, including one that is wheelchair accessible.

The toilet block with disabled access is nearby.

We are committed to reducing our carbon emissions, so you won’t find any rubbish bins on the site. Remember to pack a zero-waste picnic or bring a bag so you can take your trash home with you!

Parking

A car park with around fifty spaces is located at the end of the path opposite the reception building, it has:

  • Bike rack for cyclists at the entrance to the car park

We don’t have any electric vehicle charging stations yet.

The toilet block is located at the car park entrance.

The bookshop – shop

Located in the “Le Mess” reception building, the 50m2 shop – bookshop – has several sections: children’s books, comics, local history, the Atlantic Wall, fiction, local products, etc.

There is a wide range of literature available including a selection in foreign languages: English, Dutch, German, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese.

Did you know? The Azeville bookshop stocks over 160 comic titles relating to the Second World War.

Reception and store in the Mess

The bookshop is open during the Azeville Battery opening hours.
